But that is because I am fascinated with and confused by contradiction of humanity. You see it in my writing. How can a people who follow a savior who died for sinners, advocate putting people in cages and separating families who are seeking a better life for their children? But Dorcas, you love Jesus and cuss a lot. Yeah, but me cussing and you taking a child from its mother are…DIFFERENT (but I digress). Anywho…I always wanted to be a writer. I have always written but now I AM A WRITER (So be it now See To it, as Ocatavia Butler said). I write to be seen. I write to be heard. I write to make a difference. I write to change the world. I write to make sense of the world and my place in it. I write to BE.
